Hey everyone I'm getting this weird whine sound and no its not the SC. It happens when i turn and also when driving straight. Just replaced the wheel bearings on both sides so cant be that. Could it be the stearing rack?
HELP PLEASE!! If its the rack the car is gone, no more money to put in to this car.
Check the power steering fluid. I was getting a whining and I pulled the little stick, nada, put my finger in the fluid container, BONE DRY. I filled it up and all is well, and quiet.
I just had my wheel HUB and bearing replaced and the noise is gone... and it was a high pitched sound from the wheel well area... even Lee (LeesGTP) heard it and had no clue, but sure enuf, the mechanic thinks it was related to the HUB...
yea its more than likely power steering mine did it every time i was still and i turned the wheel ud hear a whine and then i just went out bought sum fluid talking bout stopping whines and all that stuff but check it out..

It's located in the most easily to reach, and visible location! At the back of the engine bay, practically underneath the alternator! Oh and look for it after a long drive, you wont burn yourself.

Finally Added fluid to my car for the stearing wheell and success! I dont have to get rid of my car. -_- And it wasnt hard at all just got one of those flexable funnels and added the liquid and that was it. Thanks everyone for the tips.
