I am selling my Intense carbon fiber cowl hood. HUGE weight savings with this hood. You can literally hold the entire thing with your pinky finger. New this hood is $900 + shipping (~$175). This has been on the car for ~250 miles. I will let it go for $750.
b/c the vents are huge on that hood. i would thinking driving in the rain u'd still see a lot of water move into it, especially in IL. i know when i had a cowl hood on my camaro rain still made its way into it.

i would think if the car is sitting outside for whatever reason and it snowed heavy snow would make its way into the engine...just a thought (my car never sits outside, but its just an observation)
The only real problem I ever had with the vents when I had this same exact hood on my street car was pine needles falling into the vents in my driveway, since my dumb ass would always park under the enormous pine trees.
the vents on that hood, when your driving, are made to suck air OUT not in.........so it wouldnt be so bad while driving......they wouldnt put vents facing backwards to put air in :-D
