3800 In general how much could u sell a 98 grand prix 4

I was wondering like my grand prix GTP has 155,000 miles on it w/ original motor and rebuilt trans.. I am going to be selling it in 9months when its paid off.... how much is too much to ask for it ?

Is 3k ok or is that too much or two little... I am just wondering what I might be able to sell it for..

I think i will be better off selling it myself then taking it to the dealer....

did you try going to the websites like Kelly Blue Book (i think that's the name) to research what they say it's worth? that might give you an idea or seach the classifieds here or on clubgp or autotrader.com and see what some may be going for.

I'd say do $3800, becuase people are going to want to try and talk you down. Just out of curiosity what did you mark for vehicle condition?

I marked the vehicle condition as good.. because theres really nothing too wrong with it but normal wear n tear the leather and everything in the inside is fine.. someone could even gut the car and sell the parts...

There are no mods on the thing

A guy here at work said he'd give me 3grand cash for it...

In my opinion your doing alright if you get $3000 for the car. I'd sell it for $3k CASH in a heart beat. I always base my cars off of fair condition.

My car is a 2door.. I just dumped 1,272 bucks in a trans so I am not trying to loose the money on that...

make sure you wash and wax it realllly good and clean the inside out REAALLLLY good and ask 4k and go from there but if you do that and let em know that its got a ??rebuilt?? trans you should be able to get 4k

yeah i agree...for for 4...but clean up to look like new....try to get the engine bay, looking like new also....that always makes people "think" the car was well taken car off...... good luck with the sale.

Yeah, I'll stick with my first suggestion. Around $3800 will work. I'm sure you dad will give you a hand cleaning the motor.

just use a pressure washer.....
step 1. pop hood
step 2. turn on pressure washer
step 3. stand there and watch your dad spray it
step 4. close hood
step 5. drink lemonade
