3800 quick belt question

Are gatorback belts worth it or are the regular ones fine. I have heard a lot of mixed opinions about then. Some say they are noisey some say not. Some say that they provide better grip, some say not. I am just wondering what the real deal is with a gatorback belt before i buy one.

they grip good at first but after a short ammount of time they strech I had to use the belt for my 2.8 with my 3.0 pully to keep it from sliping and the belt only had 5 or 6 hundred miles on it I personaly would go with a gates or kelly or somthing cheep they will work just fine

Somewhere on ZZP's website I think there are some test results from their MPS prototypes, the Gates belt performed the best. Gatorback is made to run the accessories.
