I just bought a gtx style hood off of someone and found out there is not a spot to attach my hood struts. I ran a magnet all along the hood, and it looks like it is all glass. I have been talking to Rex Orr (ascd) and he has some mounts that I could put on there (epoxy and screws) so I can use my hood struts. He is not sure how safe it will be since my hood does not have a metal frame. Any opinions on this? If you dont think I should put the mounts on, does anyone have a prop rod I could buy?
