3800 What to Look For

I am looking around to buy a GTP and I know that there are common things to look for on a frame and such on a used car and also I also use carfax. What should I specifically look for on a gtp though. Should I just bring it to a near by mechanic and see if they will check it over quick or do you guys have tips. Thanks.

I'll get flamed for this, but look at 99+ gtps only. The transmissions had major upgrades in '99. If you had a buddy with a scanner, it'd be good to find one that is already KR free. Many stock GTP's had knock issues, which can be addressed, but you be better off finding a KR free one. Who knows, you could be lucky enough to find a factory freak.

Alright I will look into that with that. Finding one knock free is important to me too that is why I am looking for one that is stock.
