I just came from James Dean and was quoted 140-160 bux for a 3" DP and Ubend delete, almost sounds to cheap to me. I'll be going in saturday for it.

It is too cheap...but he uses crush bends for 3" pipe, and re-uses the stock flex.

Don't get me wrong, I think they do good work. However don't get the impression you will see a gain from the DP. He uses the stock flex, which chokes off the DP to 2.125", might as well leave it stock and just do the u-bend.

I re-did my DP less than 6 months from having them do it. I'm not trying to bash Jim, just trying to save you from double spending like I did if you are looking to get rid of some kr from the DP.

Another option might be the JimmyC downpipe,

Best downpipe I've owned, he makes a quality downpipe!!

Hmmm... I figured it would be crush bent, but I could deal with that, but the stock flex being that restrictive is another thing, how does it even mate up with 3" pipe being that small. How about fair mufflers down the street for the most part, anyone know what they do on a DP? and how does the RT downpipe get away without using a flex at all
