Does anyone know where I can find an inexpensive STB or maybe have one for sale? I dont want to pay 100+ if I dont have to I know the 97-03 will fit on the 04. Is it really worth it? Will I notice a difference or is it a waste of money? thanks

Tony,

an STB will help and you will feel the difference. Now, you have the choice between a Buick STB, which you can get at a dealer or online (gmpartdirect.com), or an STB off of Ebay. It's up to you which style would fit your GP. Hope this helps.

Do a search of the parts database on ClubGP. The Buich STB is under $20 with the nuts and bolts directly from the dealer. The front one will make an enormus difference on how the car feels, you will not be dissapointed. It's the only real "good" cheap mod for our cars.

I just did mine yesterday, and let me tell you it does make a difference. The car feels much better. I got mine from a local pontiac dealer for 25.83. If that helps.

I dont know if I told you guys I used to work at a carquest, and we dealt with dealerships all the time, well one of my perks is 20% off list price at most dealerships or I can get dealer cost on some stuff at a particular pontiac dealer. I just like using cost for the more expensive stuff, like a brand new gm pcs for my trans $31, list for 58 or so. If you guys want anything let me know.

Get me the part number for the spoiler, and just to clarify is the stb for the 97-03 the same as the 04-05 gp's if so i think it is actually the same price if you buy both than just the one and if thats the case 25.00. And it takes about 3-5 business days. If you want me too grab it let me know I can order it monday.
