Arby's, worked there long enough to buy my first car...hmm, now that I think of it...it was a GP. '77 Black LJ with a 400/400 turbo trans, black leather and swivel buckets, cost me $500. IIRC I was making $2.80 or $3.00 an hour.

BTW, this was 1985

My first job(s) was cleaning movie theaters in DeKalb on the NIU college campus....not a fun job, but it was over nights during the summer, I was 16 and made $11 cash, plus whatever cash you found in the theaters themselves....most I ever found was 30 bucks, but when you're 16 $30 bucks was a lot. During the same time I also worked at McDonald's in Sandwich....$5.50 an hour on second shift during the week only. Now, 7 years later.....well.....I have a job I like better. :)

I was a drug dealer for a little over a year:ph34r: made about $100 a days cash. Then I grew up a little and went to being a stock boy @ Cub Foods making $8.00 an hour. I was ballin let me tell ya. Then as I worked there I paid for college and now I am an Electrical Engineer making a lot more then all above, so I guees it paid off at the end. Nobody is perferfect, but you gotta grow up sometime.

my first job was at 16 where I started as a Product Specialist at Best Buy for $5.65/hr. I left two years later to move on to working at XNet, an internet provider at $9/hr. I always remember those days sitting on a OC-3 connection and downloading to my zip drive the loads of MP3's that had just come out and were being introduced to the computer world... haha! :D

I actually did the selling chicago tribune subscriptions door to door in the the worst neighborhoods my boss could find, started when I was 13 (14 years ago) don't remember what I made, but I was mowing lawns also, making like $75 bucks a week doing that (lots of lawns and old people by my old house). Now regardless of my degrees, I am working a shitty job, for shitty pay  , but still work part time in the body shop when he has work for me :)

My first job was as a caddy at the Inverness Golf Club at 14 or 15 years old. I did it 2 summers because my older brothers all did it too. As a "B" caddy, I would expect to get about 20-25 bucks (16 base plus tips) for a 4 hour round, and the forsome bought you lunch. I was always assigned to the same 5 or so members with light weight bags because I was some little at that age which prevented me from getting enough praise to advance to "a" or honor caddy levels. I did get a 60 dollar tip once during a 2 day tornament

My parents, well my mom really didn't want me working so I didn't get my first job until I was 17. I worked at allstate doing filing, answering phones, and stuff like that. My dad though my boss was an ass and he was... so I quit after a month. haha
