3800 Stock mufflers and Y

Are the stock mufflers and Y pipe a big restriction? I am running VS cam, TOG, 3" no cat all the way to the stock Y and stock mufflers. I have been hesitant to upgrade because I like the way the car sounds and don't want it any louder.

If they are a big restriction, are there any replacement mufflers that are quite yet still flow well?

They actually flow pretty well. I'm still kicking myself for ditcing mine.

Ron, I have the stock mufflers, Y, and tips here all as one unit. They're free for the picking if you want them. I prefer the empty notches in my bumper.

Well, Borla's catback is only 2.25 from the y back. FWIW. IIRC either Zooomer or Digital Ken ran into the 12s on stock catback.
