What is rotating the motor mount 90* supposed to do? Does it change the resonance or vibration? I cant imagine that you would see a difference at all since the stock motor mount still has to much flex in it, unlike an all aluminum or poly mount???

Well since the motor will force the mount front and back, this helps prevent it's movement a little bit more. I found that 1/4" plate aluminum fits in those slots nicely. I welded a nut in to run a screw into it and tighten the whole thing down. I think it's a nice cheap mod what they did there.

Ive rotated mine, but not using this method. I think it impoved things enough to want to do this mod.

I just put the bolt back through after removing the dogbones and tightened the nut, then used two wrenches to flip it. It worked very well.
