was driving home today and I see this lightning driving agressive then he blew a stop sign I had to get him :fight: so I nailed it in pursuit we come up to another stop sign he actually stops this time.. we both ease into the throttle at about 20mph then both nail it and surprisingly hes not pulling on me? we get up to about 50mph then this fruitcake in a impala cuts me off so I had to let off.. I cought up to him and asked him what his mods were he said stock h34r: I want a mp112 they sound AWSOME

i was just at the local ford dealership and was talking with a tech working on a lightning and i happened to look down and notice that the truck has a 5.4L!... the Cobra has a 4.6L .. yet they are both rated at 390hp . . wtf? i wonder why ford didnt just drop the 5.4L in the Cobra too.. oh sorry..good kill

The 390hp at the crank is a pretty conservative number, they actually average about 410-420hp, and about 490-500ft/lbs of torque stock at the crank. It's got alot of weight to haul around...

Either way, the Lightning motor is a 5.4L SOHC, compared to the Cobra's 4.6L DOHC. So its only fair to say that the Cobra is going to make equal/more power....

is that truck really that slow? I must be in the low 14's or 14 flat.. somewhere around there.. I was waiting for someone to call :bsflag: or say he was missing a cylnder.. it sounded nice

my friends lgihtning ran like 13.9s at best with a smaller sc pulley so i think this is possible.
