3800 Need Turbo

[GTPPWR]

I got in the car this morning. I got a quarter mile away from my house.......I hear the turbo whine, then.....nothing. It had a bad seal when I bought it, and now the turbo is no more. The car doesnt want to idle right now.

Does anyone have a Turbo for a 1st Gen DSM??? the number that was on this turbo was a TD05.

Tom, do you have that T2????? could I get it off you??????????

you can get a 14b off ebay for next to nothing. Do a serach over there for 14b and you will find plenty to choose from.



You can also find a DSM board, then look for a local club. there are TONS of DSMs around chitown, so finding a 14b wont be hard. Just dont settle for a 2nd gen turbo.

Also, you could rebuild teh turbo you have if worst comes to worst, but it probably would end up being more expensive tahn jsut getting another 14b off ebay.
