He said he just wants to get rid of it. Its a B E A utiful car. Id definatly buy it if my car was paid off. But unfortunatly, its not. Hell, the extras alone are worth a pretty penny. Plus it is a 97. Your favorite year. :p

Body/Appearance:

Complete refinish using PPG DBC base clear black the silver stripes are the correct GTX stripe layout ( I purchased SLP vinyl stripes to match the color and so the bodyshop could measure them for correct layout) stripes start in the hoodscoops, vs. after the hoodscoops with the stickers.
new headlamps, markers/turn signal lights, and foglights- all GM parts
SLP GTX functional ram air hood, Spoiler, GTX Badges
roof rails as on a Daytona Pace car or 01 Special Edition GP
35% professionally tinted windows
Street scene grills
front and rear lower fascias are paintd in the silver of the stripes
Reflective black overlay for the PONTIAC in the rear bumper

Drivetrain/ engine

Stock 3800 Series II non supercharged engine
new belt and drive pulleys
new battery and alternator
ZZP black POLY motor mounts
SLP cold air box that works with the ram air hood
rear main seal and valve cover gaskets replaced/ NO LEAKS
transmission and engine have Amsoil fluids
U bend and resonator removed, flowmaster mufflers
Magnecor ignition wires, AC platinum plugs

Suspension/ Wheels and tires

Eibach pro kit lowering springs
KYB GR2 struts- lifetime warranty
new sway bar links
12" front brake upgrade (Impala police car size) with ceramic pads front and rear (stops on a dime)
17" SLP chrome GTX Wheels with 255/45/ZR17 Dayton Daytona ZR directional tires that have 5000 miles on them
Full 4 wheel alignment when the new tires went on
Front strut bar painted to match the silver of the stripes
Interior

Katzskin custom leather seats, and leather interior panels GTX logos embroidered in the door panels, and "Grand Prix" on the front seats
SLP GTX Floor mats, and a set of stock mats that I used when I drove it.
The entire car has been dynamatted for noise damping, ( 2 week project)

Audio

Alpine CDA-9811 CD/MP3 XM ready head unit
Infinity Kappa 5 1/4" components up front, Kappa 6x9's in the rear
Eclipse 12" subwoofer in singlebox
Aura 4 channel amp and Aura sub amp for the Eclipse Sub.

Id contact the guy. Look for his post in the Cars for sale section on clubgp. His name is GTXCowboy. See if he can work something out by taking it down and waiting or something.

If the car is well maintaned, like this one looks, it should last you a while. NO BURNOUTS. Just drive it, and show it. Maybe its a sign. You are destined to own a show car and not a fast car.

If it makes you feel better, I bought my car in 03 with 44K miles, and now it has 95K. I am planning on it lasting another 2 years at least. With the mods.
