3800 IC for turbo......will mine work?

just doing some casual reading on PFYC on the cartuning turbo and it says you can use a IC for the turbo.


Now, are they talking about a SC IC like I have on my car? They say you just block off the snout with the turbo and you are ready to go.



I m just thinking about how much more power you could get if this is true?

you could use it, you wont get the same type of gains as an air to air intercooler though, personally i would sell the BT/TK and buy the air to air that they sell with the kit

It'll work pretty well, I don't think there's enough of a difference to warrant pulling the IC you already have. I know Mike K. will be using the IC he has (an upgraded unit) for his turbo. IIRC, WBS will be selling turbo kits soon. You may want to contact him for pricing and such when you get serious about it.

I'm using a water-air core that's similar to the M90 SC's out there. They do work, and you have the advantage of not having to run charge tubes all over the place.

I'll be using our new 3" intercooler with my turbo and a gutted blower. It can be done.

We have blockoff plates in stock if you want to go custom too.
