The break in point is usually the first oil change which is 3k miles some ppl like to wait till 5k just to be safe but then some ppl do things differently and don't bother so to each his own.

first oil change at 250-500 miles

breakin? break it in how you are going to drive it.
start it up, check your fluids. and give it hell.
your rings will seat within the first couple of miles, keep it in gear let it load up under accel and decel.

speed inc will vouch for this method.

:iagree: Thats what I did on the Regals replacement motor, aswell as how our family friend and I (we switched off driving, went on a road trip) broke in his 02 Monte Carlo SS which had only 7 miles on it when he bought it.

hmm yes 3rd time..

Yes this one has a DIFFERENT cam in it.. but still a stage 2.

THis motor was professionally built but pictors teachers' shop.


shit.. i cannot use synthetic???? crap i already bought it all..

I guess i will just use the normal stuff for the first oil... then switch to synthetic.
