3800 Trans fluid

I had my pan dropped and the trans refilled, but the dill hole who filled it put about a pint or 2 to much in, is there anyway to remove some fluid easily as in a way that doesnt involve taking the pan off? I cant imagine having an extra pint or 2 to be good for the trans. I guess thats what you get when you get it done for 25 bucks. :angry:

I dont know the exact name of the thing , but basically it just sucks the fluid right out of the filler area ...i think they have them on PFYC ...here is the link to it

yeah stick a small clear hose down your trans stick area and suck the fluid out...

...that just came out wrong

Just dont swallow any fluid and you will be fine

just loosen about 5-6 bolts and watch it come out.........


then re fill......

are you sure its over filled? Did you check it hot/level/and running?
never check the level off/not running.

You also have to switch gears from park position to end position and back to park again. Leave it every gear for about 3-4sec. Oh yeah do this while running and also do the checking during running.
