3800 Gas problem

Don't know what's wrong, everytime i go to get gas, i put the pump in and start to fill and about 5 seconds later gas comes up and shuts the pump off, does this the whole time, it takes me like 20 minutes to get gas cause i gotta go as slow as i possibly can and it still shuts off. i dont understand it, someone know what's goin on here and how do i fix it?

that happened to me the other day , i stopped @ 4.50 and pulled to the next pump... when i went in to pay the lady said , i thought you were pulling off without paying .. i said no i was in a hurry and didnt have time to dribble gas in my car ...

thats a weird one .. maybe your gauge is broke and your already full ?lol...i dunno this will be interesting to see what the problem was .

Thats happened to me before, you pump, then it the pump shuts off acts like the car is full, then you can do it for a little longer, then sometimes you gotta keep trying over and over.. I've had it happen before I don't know why it does that, one kid told me is was air in there causing that

I've had that happen before but it was the pump's problem.

maybe you have something clogged in your screen and it is causing gas to pool up quickly.
