3800 more boost or more timeing???

I am running the 3.0 right now. I would be able to run the 2.8, but I do not know if I want to spend money on the injectors. Is there greater power from timeing or boost??

what are your ipw's at right now, if they are not to high you may be able to run the 2.8.

Boost, then timing, with min timing at 16. If you can run a 2.8 with 16 deg timing, 0 kr, I would do that. if you can't run with atleast 16, use the 3.0 and see how much timing you can command.

Yeah, boost is safer than timing as long as fuelings OK. Problem is with boost, you don't know how much is useable until you hit the "wall". By then you've already bought the pulley.

can you bump your fuel up to run a 2.8 with stock injectors, I was just gonna push it up a few persent. of will this be a waste of time concidering I am almost maxed on my ipw's

It'd probably be OK, but be careful. I'd do it on a cooler night, make sure fresh oil's in the car, etc, basically make sure everything's tip-top. I would definatley do a FP re-wire, and make sure your electrical is all good.

It's also, not as much a question of bumping up the fuel. Fueling should stay about the same no matter what size pulley you have on it. The computer just can't command the duty cyle of the stock injector to run long enough to meet the demand. They simply can't flow enough when static (stuck open).

For less than the price of injectors, you can richen up the mix by going to an alky system, plus you get the extra cooling benefits. Hell, I'm going to be spraying gasoline into my SC to help out with the 2.6" on!
