3800 STOCK HEAD GASKET size?

im lookin at intense's site and it gives me the choice of .65 or .52.... what do i choose?

get the thinner gaskets, they will raise the compression slightly

.65 is closest to stock , .52 will raise you .1 in compresion so you would be 8.6 to 1 . I think itsworth like 9 horsepower

yes i noticed that on the site..

it said .62 was stock.... but the two choices are .65 and . 52.... soooo neither of them are STOCK..

I dunno about raising compression... kinda iffy.

it barley raises it, if you don't like to raise it then go with .65 and lower it.

I was gonna buy those too, but that is a sht load of money to spend on somthing that wont make you faster. so i fiugred i would let the funds replentish then go for it in the fall.

i think i have a spare set of 4 layer MLS gaskets in my garage, they are .052. if i can find em you can have them.

If you haven't bought them yet, skip the MLS. Get stock gaskets and ARP head studs instead. If you're not doing it to bump compression, don't put them on a daily driver unless you have microfinished the heads and block mating surfaces.
Many people have no problem with them, but many do. They are not as "idiot proof" for installation technique. Stock HG's will hold much more boost than you will imagine, and with using head studs will give you a trouble free seal.
I bought a set last summer, and after watching all the problems people were having, decided to sell them.
