3800 Audio help needed

Right now I have a sony xplode CDX-F7700 head unit. I also just picked up a set of xplode 10 inch subs. Up to 300 RMS watts, and 700 watt max output. I was curious on what kind of amp would go with this set up. TIA.

It all depends what you want it to do, I don't know much about sony stuff but If those subs are dual voice coil then you could make them sound real good with around 600 or 800 watts but that is if sony amps can handel 2 ohms. other wise I would say you will need a pair of 500 or 600 watt amps to make them sound rilly loud.

I dont want anything too crazy loud. Just more clarity, louder is always good.

I was thinking anything between 800-1000 watt amp.

are the subs dual voice coil if so you could get away with a smaller amp,
but if not 800-1000 would be plenty.
