3800 Best tires for stock rims?????

Wassup guys i wanna know what are your thoughts on the best tires that fit the stock 5 star 16" rims. Should i go 235's all the way around. Plz let me know. I like to race so i need grip. The stock tires are embarrasing me Squelling all over!! THANKS

i got some falken zx 512's or something along those lines. they are really nice. they are a 235/55/16 tire. i like them alot.

I love my traction T/As. I think I went with 225/55/16....i forget its downstairs but thats too far to walk. Its a smaller diameter than stock tire..

The traction T/A's and the Falken's are both a good value. Of course there are better tires out there, but you have to spend a lot more money. Either of those are better than a fair amount of performance tires. I personally like the above brands because of the weight penalty you pay with the well rated Bridgestones which are also a good choice. I made an Excel chart when I was looking to compare weight, diameter, fit on rim, footprint. For dragging with a street tire the best overall I found was a 235/55/16 from Falken, it fits looser on the rim than a stock size but you'll get a better launch with it. The tightest fit to the rim of any tire was the RS-a, but they don't have a very good tread compund, and the second tightest to the rim was the bridgestone. It all depends on what you're looking for from your tires.
