I quit from my office job today, as I need something bit more flexible than Monday through Friday 9-5, no exceptions. I am a college student, with a lot of sales and customer service experience. If anyone knows of job around the area, or is hiring PM me. Also, if my resume can be improved, someone let me know (everything but personal info that goes at the top is here).

Depending on the job you give your resume to, put in detail what your past jobs are in your resume. Not only does it help the interviewer with knowing what your pasts jobs where, but it also shows what you're capabile of. Put in your tasks, what your job title really was, what you normally did from the time you got there to the time you left, and so on.

you need to clean up your resume. take off the high school is the first thing to do.put your college degree and stuff with your schooling....ie heres mine:

EDUCATION:
Elmhurst College Elmhurst, IL
Bachelor of Science Degree
Major: Business Management Minor: Spanish
G.P.A.: 3.75

and be done with education, dont repeat it in the end with qualifications.

Objective should be the very first thing on top. Im not sure if you just put in here in any order but if thats the order of your actuall resume, objective needs to be right after your personal info.

thats fine if your still in college, what i was told to do, and did, was put graduation expection date. With a resume one if the things is u wanna fill up the whole page, so chose, starting from the recent, your jobs and list what they involved, try to list like three for each. like if you were a cashier at McDonalds for the sake of an example

Employment:
McDonalds 2004-Current Cashier(bold font)

Take direct orders from customers
Make transaction and give correct change
Assist customers with all requests
Assist managers with daily check list


Stuff like that, your never just anything at a location, you can make it sound good.

plus try careerbuilder.com, hotjobs.com (and monster<------ personally i dont like). but with career builder and hot jobs i been getting calls non stop. if you do try these make sure you have an e-mail that includes youer name, mine was something well, non-business-appropriate and i got 0 respnses, i changed it to my name @hotmail and i have been getting average 2 calls a day.
