Where i can get a used altenator for a 95 grand am 3.1?

Does anyone know if this altenator is the same on other vehicles?

Cant you just pick one up at like autozone?
I cant imagine that they are that expensive???
Otherwise you could call the dealer and they could cross-reference that part number for other vehicle applications...

He's right. GM alternators have enough issues as it is. I don't think replacing your burnt out alternator with another 10 or so year old one from the junkyard is going to be worth the investment, since it's not that much more to get a new one.

There's one there for $60 with a 1 year warranty. Or you could fork an extra $30 over for a lifetime warrantied one. I'd fork over the money to go with an Iceberg alternator myself, but that's just me. :mellow:
