Does anyone know anything about Adjustable Voltage Sensitive Relays?

Where to get them, how to make them, bla bla bla.

I cant find much info on them, except breif descriptions from manufacturers. What im looking for are:

Operates/relays on 12V DC
Input range of 0-5V (I think)
Adjustable trip value
-20*F to 110*F operating range (outside temp)
Resets when below set trip value, or has an adjustable reset value.

I have emailed several companies, and am just waiting for a response.

If you know anything, let me know. Thanx. :)

I know they're out there. I've been trying to look too when I have time. It sometimes takes awhile to find stuff like this, you just need to use several different descriptions for the same thing in your searches, but one will turn up.

Ron, the map sensor operates from 0-5V correct?  If not what is it?

Typical MAP values:
Manifold Pressure
(relative sea level / absolute)= 2 Bar MAP Output
14.31psi / 29.01psi= 4.90V
14.00psi / 28.70psi =4.84V
13.00psi / 27.70psi =4.67V
12.00psi / 26.70psi =4.50V
11.00psi / 25.70psi= 4.33V
10.00psi / 24.70psi= 4.16V
9.00psi / 23.70psi= 3.99V
8.00psi / 22.70psi= 3.82V
6.00psi / 20.70psi= 3.47V
4.00psi / 18.70psi =3.13V
2.00psi / 16.70psi =2.79V
0.00psi / 14.70psi= 2.45V
5.00inHg / 12.24psi= 2.03V
10.00inHg / 9.78psi= 1.61V
15.00inHg / 7.33psi =1.19V
20.00inHg / 4.87psi =0.77V
25.00inHg / 2.41psi =0.35V
29.10inHg / 0.40psi =0.02V

how's that?

Trying to take a map signal input (0-5V). Set a dial at a certain trip value, which will relay a 12V signal output.

So input will be 0-5V. I want to be able to adjust a dial and set a trip voltage of say 3.5V. At 3.5V it will relay a 12V signal. When it drops below 3.5V or another dialed value, it stops relaying the 12V signal. Then everytime it goes above 3.5 it will relay the 12V signal, and stop when it goes below 3.5V.

I would want it to be plug in play with the map sensor connector, if possible. For the 12V and ground it can just be wires...unless you got something nifty up your sleeve :D

Also, is the relay part of the circuit? Or does it just trigger a separate relay? If its just triggering a separate relay, then I could use a relay also.

But what kind of price are we looking at here? Let me know here on by PM :D

Thanx a lot for the help :)

EDIT:...also if you have any 12V air solenoids then I would be interested in that too...depending on price. :p
