I have one I custom made for doing mine. You can borrow it if you want. It clears everything you need it to. It's actually a crow bar I opened a slot for a rocker bolt, and widened the claw to fit the retainer. On the back head it clears the ledge at the top of the firewall.

that sucked when we were doing yours mike. i hate that thing so much, plus it feels like the spring is going to fly out and jack you in the face.

i have known about that for awhile, but rob at 3800 performance has promised me that it is done machinine and now dave is just polishing it or whatever he does and should be done soon. who knows
