3800 cant get rid of my BOV!!!

So every time I go wot and let of the gas around a shift point (45-50), I get huge burts of air coming from my engine bay...

SOunds a like huge blow off valve going off....

I though it would take care of itself when I did the IC instal and put new gaskets and torqued everything down again.....well, no such luck...


So ive looked around the throtle body and thats on tight as well....

Iv practically lived in my engine bay the last month or two and all vacuum lines are conected.....

Cant figure this out.

Do you have the EGR still in?
Or did you do the EGR bypass?

Or did you just block off the EGR on the lower intake and not on the header?

I get the same noise sounds like a turbo.. .. because of the EGR not being properly blocked off.

My car does the same thing since I'm using the IC to block the EGR. I think this is also the way we did it on your car John.

BTW, I have your brackets here still. Give me a call this weekend if you're in the area.

It did the noise b4 th install as well...

Does sound cool as hell though..

I will block off the egr to the header soon....will see...
