3800 Home Brew Beer

yesturday my buddy and i just cracked open our finished product of our home brew. It ws actually good, i was thinking it was going to be a dirt sock / vinegar taste, but i gues we did something right. ITs quite easy and fun, and you sorta get that satisfation that you created it. If you have room and some patience, i suggest trying it its fun and interesting, plus 5 gallons of beer for about 35 bucks

there is a place in elmhurst called the wine store or something that sets you up with a nice beginners package, with a bottler , capper, and materials its really cool.

if you're really interested go on bode rd. in shaumburg to a place called Brew n Grow. .... hmmm?! all the supplies for the chemist/horitculturist in all of us

how long do u gotta let this stuff sit and ferment or whatever it does?

it all depends on what you make we makde a simple beer and it only took 1 week to ferment, then we bottled and waited another week, to let it carbonate
