3800 Service Engine soon light

My service engine soon light is on... what does that mean? What do I need to service>? Never had that happen before, can it hurt anything ?

You need to have someone scan your car or go to Autozone and have them read the SES code so that way you can figure out what the real problem is...

It could be a sensor.......It has happend twice this year on my truck and they both were sensors, but remember I don't have a GP...lol

I had that problems about a year and a half ago. I had a loose O2 sensor. Sometimes a loose sensor will make the SES light appear. Don't know if it helps or not, but that is what I have experienced in the past. ~WYD_TRAKN_GP

TRAC light is always ON=OFF

the ABS light/Trac is related...thats either a dirty or bad wheel speed sensor.


and whats the code on the SES light? did you get it read yet?

SRS AIR BAG light is on today as well
