That when searching around on the boards or reading a car magazine, I will complete miss a song i like. I have head phones on with the music rather loud, completely surrounds me, cant hear anything else. Now if i find something interesting to read or do, i dont hear a note of this music. But when i try to do homework or something else for school, the music is the only thing i hear.

I just find it interesting that once of your senses can completely shut down another sense.......

Yea, but could you imagine if you were blind, paralyzed, had no tongue and didnt have a nose? I bet your hearing would be pretty wicked then.

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I have a real strong procrastination streak. In 8th grade I put off studying the Constitution until the night before the test. (you had to pass this to graduate 8th grade) I bought a Radioshack pillow speaker, read the Consistution aloud into a microphone and recorded it onto tape. I played it in a loop while I slept. Got a 98% on the test.
