3800 Grand Prix GT Owners

I have a 97 GP GT with a little over 90,000 miles. I have no clue when the spark plugs were changed if ever. I am wondering which plugs to get and what to gap them at? Zack is going to help install and gap when he is looking at some other stuff on my car. Do I need to upgrade wires at all?

My performance mods are as follows a 9" K&N cone filter, 180 t stat and a DHP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I'm sure Fish can chime in on the best plugs and gapping for them...

As far as the wires go my suggestion is that if you have never changed the wires since you have owned the car that you should. The only wires to get though are the stockers from the dealer (AC Delco) these to me have run the best compared to any other aftermarket wire. They are going to be a little pricey, but worth it in the end especially if you are going through all the work of replacing the plugs.

Morgan can you tell me what guage that two wires are that you used to hook up your DHP?
A rough estimate is fine, it does not have to be exact...
