3800 what am I going to break first?

Ok so after the cam goes in my mods will be as follows:

intense stage 2 cam
3.0 pulley (planning on putting on an mps with a 3.25 or something around though)
Custom tuned pcm
160 * T stat
everything capsers makes for L67s except for the nitrous thing
cat-back exhaust by jim
thrasher cai
throttle body spacer
thrasher shift kit

planning on headers around april or may and then a diff and whatever trans stuff I can afford after that.

Just looking for input, I know its when not IF I break something, just want to be prepared for what.

How many miles? If 50k+, I'd venture to say the wheel hubs. Both mine went bad after I started getting deep in the 13's.

Id save up for a trans or get the GMPP koni kit. The ride is so much better.

how are you running stock heads with the stage 2 cam?


I thought you could only run the 1x cam on stock heads....



and I don't know that you'll be able to run a 3.0 without headers yet....

I ran a 3.0 with no headers until June when I put the IC on. No rockers or cam either...I had some KR, but the highest I saw was 4degrees at the shift. Kyle's got Justin's old ride, it's had a 3.0 on it all it's life.

I have all the stuff modifeid to support the cam dont worry. 130# valve springs, modified retainers, prj valve seals.

I already have eibachs and i'm going to get struts too, just so many things to pay for, i'll get to it all.

i guess i'll just save so i can be prepared.

I remember Intenses website saying that teh Stage 2 will outflow sotck heads...........

I believe you need better heads.....regaurdless if you have headers....
