I agree with Horist. I do not want to see any government programs, deductions, etc on my pay check. If I ran for president my motto would be "Get off your ass and get a job". There should be stipulations for gov't programs. Not only must you be x, but you have also made attempts to better your situation. No, you sat on your ass...no money for you.

my favorite part of Kerry's tax stance is that he claims with Bush's tax break of 2001, only the rich got money back. I got money back, and I'm here to tell you, I ain't rich!

THe interesting part of last nights debate was that when addressing imigration and border patrol, Kerry started with the fact that 8000 imigrants pass the borders everyday. When he reiterated that statement after Bush's comments, it was only 4000. Its so hard to keep lies straight.

Politics is Politics boys and girls...

It will always be an area where there is deceit, lies, scandals, etc. regardless of what party. Presidents should be picked by voters because they stand for what their nominee is offering. I am so sick of these debates! Seriously when did the Presidential debate become a contest of who can attack the other member more? I really dont care what these people have done in their past nor care to know about their intimate/personal lives. I want to know what they are going to do for the people in this great country.

What is their stand on war? Any break on taxes? What is their mean to better our struggling economy here? How can we get more jobs not lay off 1,000 more! There are 100's of issues that are of importance and to each voter some are more important than others. Just remember vote for your President based on what they stand for personally, their track record and their personal experience. Don't vote based on negative imput form the opposing parties. Anyone can get up and rip someone to pieces, but when was the last time you watched a debate and someone got up and just pointed out all the great things his opponent has done?

Regardless of your stance on the two Presidential nominees, politics, or anything realting to our U.S. government try to vote. Voting is something that people here take for granted and pass up. Remember there are countries where what the people want and need dont matter because they do not get to vote. Regardless of whether you live in a Democratic or Republican "swayed" state; still vote. It's only once every four years you get to actually have a say in who represents our great country we live it.

Don't forget to vote November 2, 2004

My core stance is simple...If Bush wasn't smart (or slick) enought to pull off the WMD lie then he's out. I don't mind wondering if the leader is lying but to outright know that he's lying to the country about something that effects the country and not own up to it...he's outta here. It's unfortunate because I do like about as many aspects of his platform as I do Kerry's but I just can't trust him anymore.
