Can anyone help me with this mini a/f 1.0. What would be the settings to lean this thing out......I seem to be confused again. I thought I had it leaned at about 22% and it ran ok.
Still a little rich but coming home from work set a rich SES. By the time I got her to the garage was stumbling and smoking. Fouled plugs. Im swaping them for some Rapid fires too tune. Then Ill go back to the 104's when I boost up.

I want too lean it....
1) 25%

2) 30%

Its running real rich now cause its misfiring and tosses a rich code. Im tossing in some new plugs and want to lean it until my hub is completed for my 2.8". This thing is rich with a 3.40 and 60#s....

Soooo.....

ON

128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ DIP SWITCH
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8

What I need to know this is the correct layout. Also, what position does the switch need to be in to lean the mixture or alter the MAF Hzs.

#2 #6 #7=70 or will lean me out 30%

OK, i think I have the AFC 1.0. The 1.1 listed on zzp looks different than mine. Mine is a big rectangle with the little switches. So thats the one you got right? Just want to make sure, so I dont cause worse problems ;)

But anyways, on mine it goes:

ON 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1

So to set it to stock level you want it at 100%. So you flip up the 64,32, and 4. That will bring it to 100. If you want to lean it out to 98%. You do 64,32, and 2. If you want to richen it up to 102%, you do 64, 32, 4, and 2.

So yea, 2, 6, 7 will give you 70%.

Hope that helps.

Yea the rectangle with the little dip switches....Im going to try it. After I toss these Champions(plugs) in. Yes thanks for the help. 70=30% lean...I had it at 88=22% lean and it tossed a PO127 I think...Rich code. I need the 2.8 pulley to get my PWV up and use some of this fuel up.

The problem may be that you are trying to adjust so far out. I've had the V1 for a couple of years, and it gets hokey at any values +/-10%. It may just be the V1 that is that way. With 60#ders on there, it may be better to get a custom tune.
