im looking at possibly getting an intense stage 2 cam and was wondering exactly why they say i shouldnt run it on stock heads? would stronger valve springs make it ok to run the cam or is there more headwork involved?

to run the stage 2 cam, the bare necessities are stronger valvesprings (105 or 130), milled retainers and vitron valve seals. the optional yet highly recommended things are lifters and pushrods as well as a single roller timing chain. headwork will definately unleash the power of that cam alot more, but stock heads will be ok. personally if staying with stock heads i would recommend the stage 1X cam.
