3800 Import Question....

I need an engine w/ Manual Trans to fit into a 90-91 Honda Accord. My cousin shot his and needs a replacement and I told him to get a either VTEC or something Turboed. We are going to cam it and put headers and all the good stuff.

Mike(MK4life) can you help? Just need some Ideas.

shoot man, thhat thing came with a B16 to start with. I would go for a B18b1 or C5. This would come out of a 95ish integra. they came with 180hp and dohc Vtec. either that or drop a D16 in it and add spray. my GTP got beet by a D16 hatch all motor by a good 2 cars....and he didnt spray it.

If you are going to do a swap there is no good reason to not put a B18 in. If you are going all out a those things will hauls ass with a turbo and appropriate cams. Better start visiting clubsi.com and doing some research. Best to do it right the first time than to blow another motor.
