3800 headlight issues

i finnaly got the chance to pull the connector out of the heat sink and now have no daytime running lights, YAY! but when i got in my car at night and turned the key the lights went on. during the day they remain off, YAY! how do i disable the light/darkness sensor

There are 2 fuses there is one for DRL's and there is one for the twilight sentinal feature.

You pulled the DRL feature. heatsink. ..

If you look in the glove compartment there is a DRL fuse pull this one is it called DRL in the manual..i beleive it is on the bottom row first fuse. double check against the fuse chart.. .to access the fuse center.. pull out the plastic storage compatrment it pulls right out.. behind that is the fuse center.

If you pull this one you will disable DRL's and the automatic light feature.. You will now need to manually turn off and on the light's..
