i have talked to two people and one said to run the s/c and it will be fine, and the other said not to run the s/c. i have heard the noise for awhile but just realized what it was. is it safe to run the s/c with a bad coupler or should i just take the belt off and not run the s/c. i won't be able to fix it until next weekend, and i will be driving alot going to work and school. thanks for the help
ya but i have been driving it for at least a month now knowing about that noise. where can i get a new one at?? i thought zzp sold some, but i don't see them anymore
when you take the snout off, there are 3 little "nipples" coming from the rotors of the s/c and the same on yhe snout. all the coupler does is connect them and make them spin as one. when the coupler breaks, its like not having your belt on the s/c, it just wont spin
