I was just wondering when you get the tog flex welded to the rest of the system, do they mark it then take it off the car, or just weld while its on the car.

Also, if I wanted to get two flanges welded on my downpipe, would they need to take the dp and the rest of the system off the car, or can they weld the flanges while still on the car.

I usually spot weld it on the car, then take it off to do the seams. It's a lot easier to do a good job if it's off the car.

Most of the time, they can weld it while on the car, but if they were to take it off, they get better welds. Just depends how much effort they want to put into it.
