3800 About to buy a 2002 TA Ram Air ws6...hehe

I think I have found a TA that I will be purchasing shortly and finally realizing a high school dream.

It is a 2002 TA Ram Air WS6 6 speed. Its metallic blue w 2000 MILES! Garage kept-never seen rain or snow....yada...yada...

It is so damn beautiful..........

IM still keeping the GTP...its paid for anyway.

1st mods for the TA will probably include longtube headers, exhaust, intake, etc......

What is a good exhaust for a TA? Id like one that is daily drivable and wont wake up the neighborhood at idle......something conservative yet flows well and looks good.........

GMMG triple chambered exhaust, we have it on our Z28 and it sounds sweet. if you come to the mod day i will take ya for a spin in it so you can hear it.

millers z28 sounds badass. i heard it at leo mini mod day awhile back from about 5 blocks away when he turned the corner and got on it.

Borla is a great sounding exhaust but i heard from somewhere that is second worst to put on those cars. SLP is prob. your best bet. Good sound and good performance, but if you got the money go with Corsa, it's the best for those cars.

i had long tubes back to a catted Y and borlas, sounds really nice.

i blew up a cat last night so now i have an offroad pipe and it sounds mean at idle and WOT, but sounds like ass between 2300-2500 rpms, it gets REALLY loud and raspy for those 200rpms

keep stock exhaust, use a cutout when you need it.... on a stock car I like the borlas... but on a modified car... you will get rasp (if you remove the cats)

cat-backs are a waste of money (unless you wanna buy my borla for 300 installed plus your stocker)

I'm going true duals in a week.. but if i hd to do it over again i'd keep my stocker and just get a cutout...
