This might encorage you, but the R6 is one of the more nervous bikes out there. You'll really love a Gixxer 750, makes you want to do endos all day long...

I love my buddies R1 man i just went around the block and i went on a straight away and did like 95 all quick i love it thats why i want on but not yet.

The last R1 I drove was around 2000, and I think it was a 99 or 98. They guy had it set-up for stunting, and everything was super stiff. I only had to ride it about 2 miles, but I couldn't wait to get off it. The steering dampner was so stiff it barely turned at low speeds. After sitting on my ZX9, an R1 feels so light it's amazing.

Have you guys seen the specs on the '05 R1? 180HP!!!! and it weighs less than 400lbs....I couldn't even imagine what that would be like

My buddy had a turbo busa pushing near 350hp!!! I think the actual # is 348 or somewhere real close to that. Its sick, I havent asked him what he ran at the track yet, but im sure its at least a 9 sec bike or faster, but I dont know too much about bikes.

I can't stay away from the RC....I've been through several bikes, but I the RC is my fav so far.
