The rear rotor is a floating single piston just like the front. It should clamp on both sides, unless broken. :)

Really it's all a moot point. Unless you're putting the car on a road coarse, the brakes would be overkill, plus you're dealing with a significantly heavier rotor and caliper which will increase rotating mass as well as unsprung weight. You have to weight the advantages.
