3800 I need to know my IP

I switched internet providers and now have netzero.

But i'm banned from a forum, cause the admin banned someone with a similar IP i guess,

so how can I tell what mine is so he can unban mine?

LOL...make any sense?

from a DOS promt type > ipconfig /all

dole, the IP that i posted is the IP that you were using when you made that post, so if that is the same computer you need the IP for, then thats it

Not really. If he switched Providers. He will end up receiving a new IP address from the providor.


Im sure net zero since it is dial up uses a dynamic IP scheme.

DO like he said at the command prompt type

ipconfig you will get the ip addy
ipconfig /release to release the current ip address.
ipconfig /renew to renew a new IP address from your service provider.

what does the last number mean? because the number bumpin provided is different than the one they had me as.

64.136.27.229 is what my other board has me down as. which is 100% the same as a guy who was banned like 6 months ago. how can that be? is it like a phone # where they reuse them?


so when the admin un-banned my # of ...229, it banned the entire board somehow and let me in only. LOL

was kinda funny, but now i'm back to being banned. They apparently think i'm the guy from 6 months ago...???
