Not as much fun today as my last time, but I got a new PB by exactly a 100th of a second. The car couldn't hook up all day and I actually spun the tires, let off, and got back on it again in this run. What's cool is that my previous PB had a trap speed of 98mph and well the new PB has a lot more promising trap speed, even with 4.71 degrees of knock (arg). Here's the slip:
R/T .093
60' 2.124
330 5.797
1/8 8.900
MPH 80.78
1000 11.573
1/4 13.837
MPH 102.54
No rockers, no headers, no cam, no problem. She's got a lot more in her after I get some tires and tune it a little better.
There were 5 GTPs there and the Bonneville club was also there. My buddy did a 13.9 with a 3.4, DP, DHP, and U bend removal which was pretty impressive. There was also another Bronze Mist GTP there. He had a 2.2 second 60ft time, kept his foot into it the whole time, and did a 15.7@89mph! Yikes.
All in all, a lot of fun despite the short number of runs.
