3800 speed limiter

I tried my car on a dyno today but it wouldnt make a full run because it hit 110 and cut out. Is their a mod to bypass it or not.It pulled 176 and had more in it. Luckily i know the guys so it didnt cost anything. 99 gtp 2dr silvermist. Can anybody help? Chris

DHP is $215 and is a replacement PCM. Along with removing your speed limiter, the DHP will also do the following:

ok i think i am going to get one but i still have a warrenty on the car. Will they flash it at the dealership and make it bad?? can i put the stock one back on it? when it goes in for work??

and what does the Timing Control PCM with adjustable timing knob do??

There is really no way for a dealer to tell that it is not a stock PCM. Don't worry about warranty problems. As for dealers reflashing over it, I want to say that it can't be done. Someone else might no. If not, I'll ask Charles next time I see him.

The timing knob advances your timing beyond the scope of what the DHP would usually do. It's really only for cars running no knock or running race fuel

no i am from orland park so it will be here in 2-3 days thanks anyways ( i would pick it up but i would spend 5.00 in tolls and 10.00 in gas and you can ship it for 8.00

Dont forget the price for a case learn. If the PCM gets flashed in the car, no need for one.

Nope, 1.60 in tolls there and back and around 3-3.5 gallons of gass there and back.......

I do it twice a week!. :lolsign:

Yes, it will, though the real benefits will show when you start to mod. Nonetheless, it will remove the lag that you get at 40mph and you get the 4-2, 3-1 skipshift which is mighty fun.
