3800 quick help with a/f gauge install

um, i just need to know where to plug the damn thing in...i followed the instructions on the pfyc site, but then realized they were for a grand am...

i have an o2 pig tail harness already...

ok, what ya do is,


back by the fenderwell, look down behind the motor. you'll see the oxygen sensor coming up off the stock downpipe. follow that cable up and you'll see where there is a harness to plug the pigtail into.

just unplug it hook yours up and you're all set. make sure ya plug it back all together.

The pigtail you have probably has a purple wire coming off it if its a caspers one.

after i went out to actually look at the car, i saw the o2 sensor and i saw that cable.
the install is done and we're off to make sure the"full throttle" a/f gauge works!

and just in case anyone is interested, i think this gauge works very well and might be a bit more useful than the regular autometer gauge...
