well.. my opinion extended warranties are all crap anyways... some people may have good stories but i've heard more bad stories than good...

but you really need to determine what's important to you... you've already paid for the warranty... so you may be better off keeping the car stock until the warranty's over...

most dealerships wont even notice a smaller pulley or 1.9 rockers, so i say that those are your first steps

I have the foloowing mods and went to the dealership for a warranty issue about my trans and I had the following,

3.4 pulley
Thrasher intake
Exhaust

and they said nothing about the mods, but like BumpinGTP said rockers they won't notice and a DHP also just be sneaky about your mods. Now I wouldn't put a stage 3 cam.
