3800 Comcast Upgrade Speeds

In case anyone with Comcast High Speed Internet is interested.

If you go here and type your zip, you are presented with 4 plans.

The 2nd plan has whats called "+10$ add-on for speed"

This package actually upgrades your speeds to 4000 download/384 upload, compared to the normal speeds of 3000 down/256 up.

Just thought I would post this for the ppl who want the to grab some more upload speed.

hey Syp,

Yes its a 10$ addon to what you are paying per month.

You can actually do it within the chat screen and talk to a representative who will upgrade your speed then probably have you reset your cable modem.

Im going to do this also when I get home, an extra mbit down and 128 up is definitely worth 10$ extra month..

I just got the upgrade... DAYYYUM.. I download at 490k/sec and upload at 44k/sec

When I tried to upgrade, the rep had to open a problem ticket for some reason

Hopefully I'll be enjoyin those speeds in 24-72 hours...
