3800 Earthquake

Holy shitballs, we actually had an earthquake. Weatherbug said it hit 4.5 on the ricter scale, it happened just 7 miles away from Troy Grove Illinois at 1:11 Am, i was up and didn't feel or hear anything, but that's still nuts.

I live about 6 miles from where the center was located (La Salle, IL). I was at work in my office and did it rock and roll. It was kinda cool, but yet a little freaky!!!! But things are cool. If you look it up, We now have the strongest earthquake in the U.S. for the year so far. It was quite the little wake up call!!! LOL.....

I was also up and felt nothing.

The New Madrid (I know I spelled that wrong) is supposed to be one of the strongest faults in the US. Would suck if it decided to come back to life.

Does anyone remember maybe about 15 years ago when they thought it was going to go off in the effect of an 8.0+ earthquake? I remember sleeping in bunk beds and that night I slept on the floor because I was afraid that the bunk bed would collapse on me.

I was awake...here in morris...damn I thought maybe it was but didnt' think so.

I collect nascar diecast and they all are in glass cases. i jumped up and grabbed them cause they were about to start falling off the shelves.


HOw weird. this is the 1st i'd heard of it. I swear it was later than that.

I was up watching tv and it scared the hell out of me. I had no idea what happened till I heard this morning that it was an earthquake.

Yeah I was up when that happened. I am down here in Lincoln about 30 miles south of Bloomington and I could feel it. Shook my bed and my doors pretty good!
