MAKE SURE YOU DONT USE THE SAME PHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT CONNECT 2 120v WIRES TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!

Dont just take 2 120v lines and hook them up. If there are the same phase you'll roast the motor and possably cause a fire. Excessive current will be drawn. You also must use the proper wire size and the right double pole double throw circiut breaker.

I have an 80 gal 2 stage compressor that pulls something around 20 something max amps not lockrotor amps. Im useing a 30 amp DP breaker and 10 gauge(thicker) wire.

If you let me know the amp rating I can tell you what you need to use to safely hook it up. Or bring some marshmellows.....

Be careful.........

If its 14-12gauge in wont work...You will most likely need to pull of bury 10gauge Mike. Im pretty sure a compessor that size will need an amp rating/circuit protection around 30amps. Most compressors that size do.

Find out how many amps its pulling.

I may be able to sell this compressor for you. Let me ask around.
